Home Instead is a non-medical home care company that provides companionship, home helper services, personal care services and Alzheimer’s care to senior citizens in our community. Our goal at Home Instead is to assist seniors to live safely and independently in their homes.
Home Instead is looking for a Part-time Caregiver Trainer. Do you enjoy educating and developing others? At Home Instead®, we are enhancing the lives of aging adults and their families every day. In this role, you will be responsible for training our new caregivers. The Caregiver Trainer will use a combination of classroom learning and hands-on skills training. We’re looking for someone with experience with seniors and excellent communication skills who can lead and motivate others. Qualifications:
- Present or past RN, LPN or CNA certified
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
- Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
- Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry
